CSV Mapper

Reshape CSV columns
for the system that imports them.

Map the columns of your CSV to the column names and order you need, and get a new CSV. Values are copied as strings without any change, and the file is read back to check every row before you save it.

Drop a CSV, TSV or TXT file here

Rearrange the columns of your file into the columns you need.

Choose a fileCSV, TSV, TXT / up to 10 MB · UTF-8 / Shift_JIS / UTF-16
Uses a fictional customer list and the header of a fictional target system.
Pick and order columns

For each output column, choose a source column, an empty value or a fixed value. Columns with the same name, or pairs like 「電話」 and "phone", are matched automatically and the reason is shown.

Values stay as they are

Leading zeros in postal codes and phone numbers, spaces and date-like text are never converted. Before saving, the file is read back and every row is checked against the mapping.

Reuse it with settings

Save the mapping as JSON. The next file is matched again by column name, so a different column order still works. No data goes into the settings.

How to use it

  1. Open the source CSV, TSV or TXT file. The encoding and delimiter are detected automatically.
  2. Define the output columns: type the target system’s header or load a template CSV.
  3. For each output column, choose a source column, an empty value or a fixed value, and check the errors and warnings.
  4. Choose the delimiter and BOM and save. The mapping can be saved as a JSON file and loaded next time.

FAQ

Are columns with different names matched automatically?

Columns with the same name, names that differ only in width, case or symbols, and common alternatives such as 「電話」 and “phone” are matched automatically, with the reason shown. Check them before saving.

Can values change?

No. Source values are written as they are: no number or date conversion, no dropped leading zeros. Before a file is offered, it is read back and must match exactly.

Can I reuse the same mapping?

Yes. Save the output columns and mapping as a JSON settings file and load it with the next file. Columns are matched again by name, so a different column order still works.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The CSV is processed only in your browser and never sent to a server.
